About

I am a clinical psychologist and mediator with a lifelong curiosity about how our minds work and how this shapes the choices we make.

As a child, I loved stories. As an adult, I became fascinated by the stories people tell themselves-and how these narratives influence the way they experience their lives. My work is about helping people make sense of their world, rewrite unhelpful stories, and find calmer, more connected ways to live and relate.

I offer Chaos to Calm Workshops for both parents and professionals, providing practical strategies to navigate high-conflict co-parenting more effectively. These workshops draw on my background in clinical psychology, affective neuroscience, and mediation, and on years of working with complex family dynamics.

I am the author of Training Your Dragon Brain, a story and activity book (available in English and Afrikaans) that helps parents and children understand and manage emotions through playful, accessible metaphors. I am also the co-founder of the original Smart Heart Board Game, a tool designed to support emotional awareness and communication in families.

Outside of work, I have fostered medical service dogs while they are in training, an experience that reminds me of the power of patience, trust, and connection. I find balance in running and spending time with my husband, Stavros, my children, Max and Simone, and my golden retrievers, Coco and Pepe, who are constant reminders to stay present, playful, and curious about life.
